Not sure of the numbers yet, final instructions are "in the post" but unless you poke an eye out on the way there you will find me hard to miss

Thank you guys and gals for looking after us all today, few bits and bobs to deal with that I spotted, well done. Will see if I can drum up a bit more smoke and noise for you tomorrow.

No, not enough horses out of a "kitchen table special" sadly, the nearest I could get was 42 on Toyos on Sunday, 20 year old Dunlop slicks for Monday were a second slower than that but gave me a lot less lip.
Unless you were somewhere near the sharp end there weren't many people worried about any regs, the classes were by period which means that any large engined, plastic bodied racer from the 80's would have been up against my 1.7 all steel and glass effort. Last year there was a 6R4 in our class, I think the two big beemers were at the front this year.
I think there were a couple of "offs", mostly arriving at 80 mph into big tree hairpin not having used the brakes all morning and hoping they work might have caught a couple out, there was only one serious incident which saw one of Fords finest inverted in the woods after the finish line but it didn't look too bad and the driver was fine.
My next worry is the this meeting last year was the only good weather we had all season pretty much and it was certainly shining on us all weekend, I hope that isn't a portent.
Anyway, I would highly recommend this meeting for anyone who wants to see cars being given the beans without the cost or overcrowding that can come with meetings of this kind (not mentioning any names)

Only issue with the ford that went off was that he drove it to the event Driver was fine but car not so much as the middle roof brace had buckled.
