Seb Morris really is overhyped by the media...

Looks like de Vries might well run away with the Alps series. NEC might be closer, with Deletraz, Barnicoat, Morris and Amweg and a few others.
I wonder who'll win Eurocup this year. De Vries seems like a strong choice, but it'd be tough to rule out Bonifacio, Parry, Orudzhev and d'Agosto. I just wish Visser had been here instead of foundering near the back in 3.5. I wish to know who her sponsors are, just to give them a piece of my mind! |

De Vries has to win it, it's his 3rd season in the category after all. If he doesn't I fear that his reputation will be damaged beyond repair

de Vries continues his stranglehold on 2014 with a win at Aragon ahead of Orudzhev and Bonifacio.

I saw the highlights in Eurosport. Honestly it is very poor for a junior championship not to penalise such blatant weaving. What are they expecting? A horrible shunt? Awful, totally unacceptable.

Often asked question I am sure: Will Formula Renault ever return to the UK??? I acknowledge we have the BARC series but I mean a top tier 2.0 catagory. There would be room above F4, FFord and BARC. If so, how long until it happens???

I wouldn't say there's 'room' for another single-seater category in the UK |

BRDC F4 is the biggest fish currently, Formula Ford has reasonable amount of drivers, not exactly all of them are youngsters. Their aim is to survive, more likely. As for Protyre, well, they only have Alex Gill because he didn't have the budget for NEC.
In my opinion, BRDC F4 and Ginetta seem just enough for karting graduates. Charlie Robertson, Seb Morris, or Lando Norris are all great examples. Oops, I forgot British F3. That's just too much. |

Mightily impressed by Olsen. A Eurocup rookie in third place is nothing short of incredible. Let's hope he can keep it up!

he was pretty flippin' good in the eurocup at spa too. if you've not called "i saw him first" dibs on him then do so, i reckon he'll have some kind of f1 team guiding him come next season.

He is backed by Red Bull, I wonder if they'll be interested? Then again, he drives for Prema, which has a good relationship with the Ferrari Driver Academy.

Well I saw him first when I saw his AWESOME battle with Joules Gounon (I think) in the French F4 at Val de Vienne when he was just 15. The racecraft was sublime.
I posted about him in the "next best thing" sort of thread I made over winter when I commented saying I'm not sure he was quite good enough to go all the way. Now I think he's good enough to go beyond just the F1 grid... ...if he can win the FR Alps title when he missed round 1 because he was too young, that would be special. |

Well, not everybody is a champion at the age of 15 in the debut season of single-seater racing. After last year, he already looked like one of the brightest talents of the 2013 French F4 drivers joining Hubert, Hirsiger and Gounon. But if you're not convinced yet, you will probably be at the end of this year.
