Robin Miller, Dave Scoggan and Jay Baker host a local radio show here in Indy called "The Truth". The show is entirely auto racing and can be found at 950 AM. I think they also have streaming audio at 950.com for anyone who may want to listen and aren't local.

Love Robin or hate him, he's well connected. Dave used to write the "day by day" for the Indianapolis 500 yearbook when produced by Carl Hungness. Jay is a local radio personality that has spent many years doing track reports and interviews during the month of May at the speedway. Great show if you get a chance to listen in.

Robin really didn't have any update, but indicated that Rahal will likely make a decision sometime this week. Rahal is in Mexico. He feels NH has a time table in mind for the minimum car count to materialize before defection is considered. He mentioned walker is trying to put something together in both series.

He indicated the promoter of Long Beach although hopeful a race will take place, expressed concern about the event. Most of the above has been reported in one form or fashion here and other boards. However, one piece of information that I found interesting is that Portland has yet to sign a contract. News to me.

And that is news that would be false, as Global Events sent out an e mail saying that it has been signed, and our ticket packages are in the mail.
