rx-guru should be qualifying in the top 10 on the grid
Gone – but not forgotten…

http://www.adressa.no/nyheter/trondh...cle1313329.ece

Some of you may remember the daddy of quadruple European Rallycross Champion Eivind Opland, who was together with his son many times at the ERC venues to produce good mood in the paddocks. Erling Opland died the day after the ERC round at Lydden in a horrible road crash with his truck in Norway. By then Erling was 75-years-old and a living legend among Norwegian lorry drivers.

Godspeed, Erling Opland!

I would like to add my comments to Eddies.

I will always remember him at the original Lydden events

I am not sure which family member died but it is still very very sad.

Condolences from Tony, Maggy and all at Lydden Hill

Tony, the pictures via the link show from left to right:
The late Erling Opland (father of Eivind), his grandson Robert (son of Eivind) and four times European champion Eivind Opland.
