Bathurst Motor Festival Easter 2011

Supp regs are now out, Prod Sports has an oversubscribed grid of 66 EOI's awaiting final confirmation, looks like it's going to be a great event. I'm entered in the Prod Sports 1 hour enduro in my humble FTO    http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=auOoMIiigm8 Planning to be a little faster this year though  So who is entered. I hear there are a couple of GT cars entered with us? |

I'll be there along with the Commodore Cup crew. Not sure what the turn out will be like, but it appears as though a few Fujitsu series drivers will get some extra miles in at the mountain. A Few of the Darwin boys due to make the long trek too apparently.
Looking forward to getting up there. Just gotta hope I don't wind up sick and miss out on half of the meeting again, especially since we are supposed to be doing driver changes this year. Is the Lambo running in prodsports or regularity? It'll be a great thing to watch/listen to each time by. |

I'll be back again co driving an MX5 in the Prodsports 1hr. Owner of the car did 2:39s last year, so we should be reasonably competitive in Class E.

Just received a letter from Bathurst Council re; the event and it notes that certain volunteer and official positions haven't been alllocated due to the low response the event has received. The positions will be allocated on the nite of the training sessions Wed/Thurs 20/21....I live in Orange and there has been nothing said advertised at all on this event.....the only thing was Paul Toole Bathurst Mayor was interviewed on 2GZFM Orange the other morning and he mentioned it....
Lets hope with such a healthy entry list the event attracts a decent crowd.... After attending and helping out at the Vodafone F1/V8 promo I couldn't get over the turnout which was bigger than the 12hr.....my opinion. |
