don't take that as gospel, they've already screwed with CART, if tennis or cycling is on, expect them to shift it.

The main european feed for F1 is 16E, maybe you've got a bigger dish than me Sato and can pick that up, maybe F3000 will come over on that too?

(we'll talk about that another time )

as far as Eurosprts listings go , they do seem to change them at the last minute.......but , at least they have put LIVE Cart in their schedule at the moment which is a good start i suppose......

Looks promising . But given Eurosport's past record (for most motorsport except MotoGP and the SRW) I'll believe it when I see it.

That's good news, but let's hope they do show at least most of the races live. At least it already looks better than last year when they didn't have the first two races. Anyone know what other analogue satellite channels have F3000 coverage? (I have a 1m motorised dish, although tuning in channels is near impossible due to a dead remote control....)

I remember DSF used to have live coverage (using the great digital feed), but only until Heidfeld graduated. Since then Eurosport and ITV have been the only TV sources I've been aware of available to the UK.

I'm hoping if Mazzacane signs with BCN we (in South America) could see the F3000 live - or with some delay - this year, in Fox Sports LA(who has F1 transmission rights) or TyC Sports.
I also hope to see the WS this year.

...but according to the schedules there, F3000 is on at 1am. They are showing live European Championship weightlifting while the race is actually taking place.

Now I know F3000 is a relatively "minority" sport compared to F1, but surely it would get higher ratings than weightlifting? Eurosport continue to amaze me.

You can be sure that the International Weightlifting Federation (or their official sponsors) will be giving Eurosport a lot of money to televise their competition.

Formula 3000 teams are struggling to find sponsors to race, let alone fund television coverage.

Looks like it's the same as they did with CART.
Live, none at all, delayed, 45 mins replay...and only on the day before the actual race they confirmed it would be the whole race but delayed (and that was only mentioned on eurosport.com on the actual raceday itself)

So it's wait and see until April 18.

Problem is that only a few people will watch F3000 and they probably have many many many more people (from Greece, Turkey and former Eastern Bloc) that are watching wrestling.
And Eurosport has to pay for F3000 where the Wrestling Federations probably pay.

*sigh*

And Eurosports "we don't care" attitude to motorsport continues apace........unless it's their "Super Racing Weekend" they really just can't be bothered to put the effort in.

I won't be happy until all their motorsport is pilfered by Motors TV, then Eurosport can be free to show all the weighlifting, tennis skiing, Tennis, Foriegn football, Tennis and Tennis they want!
