Very nice! Great use of the BHF with the union jack there.

So the base colour of the factory LMP1 cars is white, while the base colour of the privateer LMP1 cars is black in the WEC. Easy to explain to newbies

Yeah that and the massive gap between them on the track.

Yes, and that.

I do like this livery but it's a shame that the traditional picture of the start at Le Mans won't exactly be an explosion of colour compared to the past.

Agreed - maybe it should be mandatory to have the flag of the entry on the BHF

The front view looks so odd. The fenders are very bulbous. Cytosport have done a much better job hiding some of the awekward features of the HPD.

This is the new HPD with the wide front tires, the same car Muscle Milk decided against because they couldn't get the steering they wanted. I think Strakka has done a lot of testing, perhaps more than MMilk, so they're more comfortable with these wide tires. I hope it gives them some added pace.

Muscle Milk ran with the HPD in ARX-03a spec at Sebring. They tested with the new body work but decided to switch to the old 03a spec body work for qualifying and the race.

Here they are in the 03c spec:

Does anyone know if the new car uses an updated or new engine? I am struggling to find info on the current motor for interest.

03c would still look better inMM's livery with black bits around the headlights.

Good news. Hopefully they'll get a shred of support from the parent company.

Looking forward to their coupe. If Honda step up somewhat it could be interesting to see them use a hybrid system like the new NSX will use.

Uh-huh! Maybe they should consider making a factory team while selling their cars to privateers, just like Porsche. (if the latter can sell their cars too)

If Honda or HPD are really buildind a coupe with hybrid power to 2014 they should be testing the car soon, right????

I would love to see a coupe made by Nick Wirth but i´m start to think there´s no money to build one, let´s hope i´m wrong...

Christian Mogami has a lot of promise if they can keep it on the circuit!
If Honda uses a petrol engine with electrical turbo-compounding,they have a chance strait up against the diesel but it will be still hard.By using a HERS/TERS system they can improve the efficiency by about 10-11% over the NA 3.4L engine.Because of cost restraints they would most likely use the 1.6L F1 Engine
but it would be better if it was a larger displacement(more torque and less revs).

There is still one little problem petrol has with diesel!

THE FUEL...Diesel fuel has more energy!

So it will be almost not be a fair fight unless the petrol fuel people can add witches brew(toulene and other good stuff and freeze(gel) it to get the density up-naplam like) like the 80's F1 turbo era!

will hpd release an update including a rear wing extension via wheel arch supported risers or whatever you call the toyota-emerged, audi- and rebellion-copied concept... I bet strakka, muscle milk, and possibly others (LMP2 applicability?) would love to see that..
