It was his real name, Strad. He was one of the journalists who was involved in Autosport magazine when it first started. And his journalism and authorship were absolutely first class.
Sad to say, he's no longer with us. I don't recall the precise dates, but I think he died about six years ago, far too young, long before his time. |
