Yes it is good news.
One of the biggest problems with MIPS has been car count. Young drivers in that series need more cars to better prepare them for the IRL, so the more cars the better. Also, you never know when one of these MIPS teams may be able to step-up to the IRL, like Helmegarn. Welcome to the forum Snips1!

Great to see teams and drivers looking to MIPS - it's important that one of the champions of the series can step up and do well in the near future. New enthusiastic blood is always good for a championship.
