IIRC - Last year Tata signed a commercial partnership deal with Ferrari via their electronics division - no on car presence just trade support stuff!

They may as well have launched the car into space, but then again at least Minardis will have company down the back of the grid.

I think Minardi will burn them off the way things are looking. The only company Midland-Jordan will have is themselves.

Jordan will be comfortably quicker than Minardi, IMO.

The cynicism on this forum is amazing - a few months ago we faced the prospect of Jaguar and Jordan going bust.

Both have been saved - by individuals with access to huge resources.

Yes, this year will be difficult - but the future's a lot better than if no-one had come forward to buy the teams.

Not all of us can look at things through rose-colored glasses like you KB.

Yes, I'm sure we're all glad that Jordan and Red Bull are in the series, but allow us alittle cynicism when it's deserved, and by the looks of that kickoff, its deserved...

Stop looking at it the negative way. It's about time Minardi beat somebody. Here's to Minardi making 10th!

Well, it looks 'slippery'; however, the fotos I saw of it in testing had a small wing in front of and over the side cooler inlets. They are conspicuously absent in the launch fotos.

That's because it is an EJ13 in the Moscow pic, the EJ14's have been modified into the EJ15 and are en route to Melbourne.

yeah, a bit sad they wheeled out a 2003 car...At least Minichamps will be able to get there model out quickly

I've heard that on the weekend, there was a private function in Moscow, where the cars were painted Black with red, white and blue stripes on the car from nost to tail, getting wider over the sidpods....maybe thats the 06 livery?

Well Kravitz is a berk, errors like this are to be expected.

Any news on sponsors for Midland?

Can't they just stick on some transfers that you get free with Max Power magazine or something?

It's an EJ13, quite clearly yes. Just with an '05 rear wing endplate.

Yes.

If you can call displaying a lacklustre 2003 car with all it's stickers removed and an unquantifiable driver pairing "showing off".

Barge boards have been around since the early nineties.

The size of the barge boards is very dependant on the car. This has been even more the case since turning vanes on the front wings became common. Sometimes (most times) the overall design requires them, sometimes not.
