Oaksnaf should be qualifying in the top 10 on the grid
Vic State at Sandown this weekend

Once again we are off to Sandown for the Vic State meeting, hoping for some nice warm weather conditions which allows us to take full appreciation of the ice cream truck.

All the usual suspects will be there in terms of categories, and all the usual controversy will probably arise in Formula Ford if its wet. Cade Southall's engine might have the advantage up the back straight but those headwinds will only mean Taz should almost keep with him in the slip-stream.

Looking forward to the Formula Vee and Porsche races, should once again be a top meeting.

Can't make that one, but I will be going to the VMRC at Winton the weekend after.

For any Cleb spotters Glenn Ridge is entered for Improved Production.

(OK, not A-list like Eric Bana, but better than nothing)

An E30. It's for a story on the BMWs and a plug for Yokohama on the Car Show. Sadly Phillip Showers new M3 won't be there. The thing is an E30 M3 with an E36 engine, could give the RX7s and the V8's something to worry about. Sadly Ray Hislop isn't entered. BTW the first round of Improved Production from Sandown will be the next to go up on Google Video, hopefully by early next week.

Gee Brett, I was supposed to be the IPRA spokesman on the show last night
BTW Graham Bell is building E30 M3, the 4cyl one) so two rival business' will, no doubt be going head to head

For Sandown:
Personally I am looking forward to the return of Rohan Ambose. Driving the Selectmaz car, (that Ken Douglas use to peddle so well,) we will see one of the fastest drivers (Nationally Rohan holds more track records than any other IP runner) in a car that is equal to his talent.

Jeez, I'm sure the rest of the RX-7 punters won't be impressed with that - it used to be Ambrose, Douglas - daylight as I remember.
Can't wait to see the Showers M3, have been thinking for a while a hot E30 could be the ticket to counter the buzzing hordes in IP...

Marque Sports, Porsches and MG's for me...
