maybe there was 13 cars maybe ( I cant see them on the AFOS Report) but anyway still far from what used to be the field when FRD was organizing...
Hopefully it will get better for the next races and hope they will be able to attract some new teams , even if it looks difficult when you see how the serie is reported by organization(Late and uncomplete Press release, no proper website of reference...) |

MAL has never been famous for the AFOS website anyway.
The fact that Formula Asia 2.0 has come to existence is already a testament to the displeasure of how FRD is running it series. There is no going back now. The teams and drivers will much rather run in a series with fair rules but fewer cars, then run in a series with unfair rules but more cars. |

Guys,I would like to say something, AFOS looks 200% better, just give them a bit more time, they might be 12 cars only but it's 12 young boys racing there, no Gent' drivers......who can remenber the 1st FRD race back in 2000???
How many cars with real drivers for this week-end FRD's race in Shanghai...you guys tell me. |

you are right, first ever Asian Formula Renault race is in Monza,2000.They race overthere because drivers recviving their car from Tatuus. Not meaning anything, and that moment all drivers are Gentleman racers. For some information about following AFR race weekend,12-14 cars will be in there.I may be cruel to FRD,but have to say only 5-6 drivers will compete in everyrace I belive, and you will see other 7-8 drivers are news and only made 1-2 weekends....IMO AFR is just a supplement chance for teams, who has stored their cars in circuit,to makes $$$ |

frd series will be alive cause renault sport is paying frd to get cars to have a decent grid and frd can let their friends to race for no entry fees excepting champ;the others are leaving. afos is the only way to survive.

I do not believe that Renault Sport is paying FRD
Renault has no real interests to stay with FRD , does they? |

FRD ran an ad in SCMP on Saturday to try to recruit a Sales & Marketing President and a Media Manager. I guess they are trying to get their act together in the marketing and media sectors. But their problem is probably on the technical side.

AFAIK all the teams where using fake parts and everybody knew it, no need to be hurt about that ... it is just cost effective
When you think how much it costs to import parts from Tattuus or Renault Sport to China , it is better and cheaper to buy the ones you have next to your hand It had no influence on car performances |

12 cars in shaghai for frd race but just 2 are independents. the two of super champ as they down out the steps to follow in order to race in afos series.
frd and peka are organisation cars and modena is racing 3 cars in the championship cuase wayne chen and francis tjia own big ammounts of money to frd. |

My Brother Meta4
You think the level in the FRD series is the same as the AFOS???? You really have no ideia of all the good drivers in the AFOS championship. At lest 8 out of the 13 are driving in the same pace. While in the FRD championship my brother you have drivers with 3 to 4 seconds diference to the leader. |

that is nothing new ... if you watch the result of the Qualifying of the first FRD Race at Zhuhai this season you have as well 10 drivers in 1.5 sec
http://www.frdsports.com/cn/press/co...ai_Qualify.jpg Afos by creating his own championship did not improve the level overall, they just took the "best" drivers in their championship |

I dont agrree with you Meta4.....AFos is only strating the series and it can only get better and bigger,FRD is already strugling to fill up the grid and the winners ( Kato and Kwong) cant not be compared with Beche,Rozentvitz.

the first thing that you may want to do is to get the best drivers. afos did it.they are launching this competition with the intention of tradition within the worldwide jeopardy. frd is fighting to survive. In the desstruction process of the frd championship it seems as though a piece of shrapnel has lodged itself into renault sport’s forehead.
sun1 why you say beche is good driver? he was slapped by his teammate imperatori last year in art and he is just doing well cause michael ho decide to let sa silva and haryanto pay for him to be driver no.1 in the team and be champion. he is the no.1 driver in the team and he couldnt win all in one. champ should had contract someone quick from europe. we need another hanss li or may him again. |
