Lapierre in the leading McLaren next. Let's hope he isn't taking tips from Treluyer and Lotterer!

When's the Spa 24 test, by the way? Not sure if they've mentioned on commentary, I've got it on mute at the moment.

Don't know at the moment, team saying it's a transmission issue as D'Ambrosio reported he lost all drive.
Edit: In about 10 minutes time I can tell you everything you want to know, drama on the pitch and on the track at the same time! |

Ha, I'm in the same boat, audio is on the football!
Great race at the front; Demoustier doing much better than Silverstone. Love this time of day, when you can see the drivers' eyes due to lack of glare and really see the movement in the cockpit. |

Demoustier did well to hold up Meyrick for that long - yes the McLaren is faster down the straights but his laps are still round 2:02s, when the fastest laps are high 1:58s
Does look lovely down the Mistral, drivers eyes showing how hard they have to concentrate. COME ON CHILE! Edit: Why do so many professional footballers not just put their ****ing laces through the ball? Last edited by J Jay; 28 Jun 2014 at 18:53. |

Nooooooo. Back to the race for a bit.
SpeedKing; Nick Catsburg is on a one-man mission to prove the worth of that BMW it seems! |

Jeez, #12 is taking liberties with track limits practically every lap and nothing's being done about it.

Brazil weren't exactly brilliant either ... I suppose it's not so much penalty practice as it is holding your nerve (think of snooker/darts pros who can clean up blindfolded in practice but can miss sitters in the tournaments).
Back on topic: Has Catsburg been pinged for making his own version of Signe yet? We've seen him do that at least three times now. Demoustier is also doing really well. Keep that gap to within 10 seconds and Kane won't be able to let up in the final stint. |

Doesn't look like Lapierre has much - if anything - for Kane...

Spoke too soon there I think! It's all about who handles the traffic better (and with the top speed advantage, McLaren has a slight edge here).

Have to say that this idea of an evening race was a brilliant idea!

Really enjoying that static shot of cars exiting the final corner from behind.

BoP innit? That said, having three true works drivers must be helping them; no other team benefits from that.
Decent reliability so far, looking forward to seeing them at Spa - I imagine they'll lead, but will they last? |

Hmm.... I've never rated Meyrick all that highly, but he's really acquitted himself quite well this year...

He's the one they keep giving short stints to, so it seems Bentley agreed with your original assessment, but definitely growing on me too.

It was perhaps fortunate that he was up against Demoustier, but his traffic-free laps were comparable to Kane in the last stint. They did bring Meyrick in before it got really dark though.
