Clipsal 500 Accomodation

I have just finalised our lodgings for the clipsal week and found it a challenge to be within the heart of Adelaide. It seems there is a fire brigade convention and games on at the same time so quite a bit of accomodation is unavailable. If anyone is still to make arrangements I suggest you do it soon as the options are running out fast. One hotel only had 2 rooms left .

There are plenty of motels only 5 to 10 minutes away with public transport available.
I know most would prefer to stay close to the city but as Adelaide is relatively small I would think that shouldn't make a difference Wazzi.

World Police and Fire Games are on between 16th - 25th March, 2 weeks after Clipsal

Well thats what I was told the reason was.
Kerrie, We like to stay where we can utilise the free shuttle bus to and from the track. It is a great inititave of Adelaide

When I was there this year I stayed in North Adel and all you have to do is so down 1 road to get to the track (turn 8) and took bugger all time to walk (10-15min), 5 buck cab or 2 min on a scooter
