surely we Poms can be forgiven for thinking (after following the Oz parts of the forum) that the mode of address is what passes for humour and terms of endearment down under ;-)

Seriously, though, he has a point. If someone says something you don't like, don't go for the insults and the 'ner, ner, ner, ner, ner' playground stuff. Just debate the point and argue the posts. Now pleeeeease, stick to the topic.

Good to see some updates on the website

32 entries is certainly respectable, especially considering the lack of local GT entries. Hopefully that will change in future.

And I've stopped whingeing, applied for a campsite and booked a ticket
And when my dad was in the Middle East arms trade in 1948 I rode with him when he picked up quite a few armoured Chev Quads from Woolvrampton tho be sprayed various shades of beige for supply to either side.
Was an honourable trade then, rebuilding England.
Now who is off topic?

I see Conker's is in the LP560 - I was in the 2012 season thread that there are some 'bolt on' differences.

What is the difference between an older, 2008 spec Gallardo, a 560 and a 600?

LP600's have had a tendency to go 'boom' moreso then the older Gallardos.....just ask Hans Reiter.

Mind you the LP600 has also a LP600 + version for 2012

The 600 has more grunt than a 560 but different gear ratios so net speed is similar.

600 has revised front aero, more dforce but more drag too.

But the important bit, is parity concessions and reliability.

600 is perhaps 0.2 faster per minute in equal parity with 560.

Older 520 lambos use mainly road car suspension, 560&600 have all fabricated race only stuff.

Elastic horsepower - it might be bigger, but the more you stretch it, the more brittle the band is!!

Thanks, Rich!

Looks like a decent line up - an improvement over last year, and a build to the next few.

Hopefully someone will prevail, on the B12hr side or VESA, and give a little more time between - It would have been great to see more Oz products there!

Is that the red car with white airbrush-look stripes across it? Cool machine.
Still have a lot of love for the 360GT and it's murderous shriek.

I've been wondering about this for a while.

Probably better to clarify this sooner, rather than later; seeing as the majority of the event's audience will likely depend on it for coverage.

Hopefully im wrong but my suspicion is that the previous comments regarding a live stream and the fact that the race is only being broadcast on pay tv would seem to suggest to me that its unlikely atm.

Werent there something like 20,000 people who logged on at some point last year?

Ill be there in person but i know from previous years that the livestream provides fans at home the perfect opertunity to watch the race and it would definately be detrimental to the race not to have one in place.
