Quinns car was an 07 with the Holinger sequential, not the later spyder version.

Is GT2 spec so not eligible.

FFC, will you be ok? The internal conflict with Simonsen in a 911 must be painful.

I'm fine, better than fine actually..

I'm watching him suffer in a slow and unreliable Porsche, I'm chuffed to bits!

Simonsen loves driving Ferraris, he's had much better reliability and results in them than Porsches, always.

My bigger conflict will be him up against my car at B12.... He's unbeatable on his own, so we need the others in his team to let him down, to beat him.

2010 GT3R was made for GT3 rules, 997RSR is GT2. it's that simple unfortunately. Would love to see a sunset clause on some of these cars for invitation class but I guess it opens up pandoras box.

Those R8s are sweet as. Almost as cool as the first R8 to win on Aussie soil with Crocodile Dindo behind the wheel.

I'd say so. There's no real incentive for the organisers to bother enacting any region/geo blocking.
They're trying to promote it as an international event.

+ There's separate streams this year:

http://www.bathurst12hour.com.au/
http://audi.tv/

Redundancy is nice.

There is no region blocking - stream is free for all, everywhere as it has been in the past.

Just to clarify, per the release - Audi AG has expressed interest in broadcasting the race via their own, in-house ‘Audi TV’ online service - as in, it's probably going to happen but we're working on it.

But the main stream will be broadcast via the 12hr website, Facebook page and uStream. From memory, it was also pushed out via justin.tv as well last year so should be the same.

No free to TV air coverage.

The 3 hour post produced highlights are now on Speed instead of ONE.

while i know what you meant here.

does anyone know who won the GT class, it gets a sentance at the end of an article because people dont really care, its about the outright win

class racing is almost irrelevant
