Miera almost got shafted by the yellow. Lucky for him the IRL corrected the order. Watch out for him from now on, since he has a first class crew behind him.

I missed the race beacause of a wedding (not my own).
Sounds like a strange ending and Wheldon coming from the back is impressive. How did the crowd look? |

The crowd looked pretty good, and they announced that ticket sales were up 10%.
They interviewed a few people in the crowd who were new to the IRL, and they were pumped-up about what they saw. A few even said it was more exciting than watching NASCAR there! Geez, imagine that!

I'd rather watch IRL than NASCAR at any track yiou can name - and that includes the Glen, which I hoep will bea 2005 fixture.
The final lap farce shouldn't be allowed to detract from a great race which would make a great advert for the series. Well done Dan and especially Honda (again.... sigh) |
