Frisacher
What do you think about Patrick Frisacher! When will he be in the F1?

Excellent driver, will be F3000 championship contender in 2002, and in F1 by 2003.
His driving style reminds me a bit of Jos Verstappen... |

Patrick Friesacher has certainly impressed so far this year. When/if he'll reach F1 is a difficult question, he'll need the right contacts/sponsors, some luck, plus the driving talent which he obviously has. Time will tell!

Above all, Friesacher needs to cool down. "Fast and erratic", I would call that...

Always the same old confusion...
Markus and Patrick are not the same person and, though they have the same family name and nationality, they're not relatives (just as Graham Hill and Phil Hill). Markus quit racing (so far) and Patrick raced last year in German F3, but not so impressive as he's doing this year, specially in qualifyings (I would say, only in qualifyings)... |

Markus came to Australia and raced formula Holden for a year allthough he did OK he didnt do anything outstanding and said he was off to Europe to race in F3000 and thats the last I heard of him ..so I assumed that it was him ..but know I know CHEERS |

Markus Friesacher did two races in F3000 in 1997. Didn't do very well in either of them, and was never seen again. He is a close friend of Ralf Schumacher, and I believe he now runs a hotel in Austria near Ralf's new house.

Correct. The Frieascher's family (in Markus side) owns a big hotel in Salzburg and the boy is taking over the business. Patrick's family is from Kärnten.
