I'll admit I'm not the smartest man, but it only took me 3 weeks to finally renew my ACO membership. But with that completed, I've finally purchased my tickets to the race.

All I have left to do is book my flight and finalize my Paris plans.

I'm incredibly excited about returning this year. I can't wait to see you guys again and watch the drama with the new cars unfold in front of us.

So my group of 6 just booked our plane tickets. We also reserved a nice flat about 40 minutes north of the city for the week.

Total Le Mans newbie... but I look forward to figuring it all out.

I think my biggest question would be parking. Since we wont be camping, wheres the best place to leave a rental? Being a grizzled Sebring veteran, I'm not use to being without a home base inside the track, and I know Le Mans is HUGE.

I'm still waiting for my friend to finalize his pre- and post-race plans so that we can book the plane tickets. Then to book a few days' stay in Paris, and finally the TGV tickets.

I'd get a parking ticket on one of the northern parking lots like Rouge or Expo. My parents always use Expo, and as they are rather picky, I guess it's rather good! It is the closest to the main entrance, so I can't fault their choice there!
Parkings Blue and Blanc are close to an entrance also.

Echo Vince's comments about Expo. The one time I've used the car parks we went down the Expo route and couldn't fault it. It's close to the entrance, has hard standing, generally finding a space isn't hard.

If you really mis your home base track side, you'll be most welcome at our camp in camping Blue, in between the airfield and the mainstraight. From our spot it's a short hop to the Maison Blanch section of the track.

Yeah, I was wondering the same too! But as I know GTFour 'wasn't very happy' with his ticket provider, and therefore probably has found another source of tickets, this also lead to another campsite!

Vince is right about the ticket supplier. So we switched to another one. Sadly this resulted in the fact that, for our big group, no more HA tickets were available anymore. Oh well, we'll manage to make it a nice camp nonetheless.
It appears we'll be occupying nine spots on either side(so 18 in total) of one of them dirtroads that run all though the campsite. That's gonna be quite interesting...
