Kenny Brack remembers the Chevy 500k 1 year on
A Year After Crash, Brack Doesn't Look Back
 Kenny Brack says he wasn’t reminded that Oct. 12 was the first anniversary of his crash at Texas Motor Speedway until he set the date on his watch in the morning. This weekend, the 1998 IRL IndyCar® Series champion and 1999 Indianapolis 500 winner will return to the speedway for the first time since the incident on Lap 188 of the season finale. He plans to thank doctors and nurses who treated him at Parkland Memorial Hospital in Dallas, visit with longtime friends, attend the Texas Motor Speedway Children’s Charities "Cowboy Up" Gala, and continue as an advisor for Rahal Letterman Racing drivers Buddy Rice and Vitor Meira. I really hope we see Kenny back in the car again. Although it dosen't look likey, at least not at Rahal.

If KB (not Kicking-back)
 is to return I think it would much more likely be 2006.

I would rather Kenny didn't come back to IndyCar.
At the age he is now, most drivers are thinking about retirement - he's had the big crash too. I'd rather keep positive memories of him and see the younger guard take over. |

He has already won the 500 and the league so there isn't anything else really he can achive.
