The RSR guys must be VERY glad that they finally found and took care of that cam sensor that has been giving them so much grief.
i don't know what you guys are complaining about. I missed the first hour, but from the justintv link, it sure looks like GT has been getting a fair bit of airtime today. |

Do BMWs have to make another pit before the chequered flag?
May Porsche have only a splash...? |

Time to start lobby ALMS to put the video stream up on the web site. I will not tolerate another Docu-Drama on CBS, another cost cutting measure by ALMS when they let the main class implode.

DJ, you don't have much choice but to tolerate another CBS telecast, because that's what Mid Ohio will be.
ALMS will be offering, for those who are registered, the full, live stream of that race as well, last I heard anyway. I'm not sure there was a whole lot ALMS could do. They were quite possibly going to lose at least one manufacturer no matter what they did. Remember, Acura and Porsche had VERY different aims with their programs, so that divergent nature likely would have caused issues anyway. |

Graf has more handling difficulties; Brabs has possibly questionable fuel load. Sounds like fun!

Nice weekend for Porsche!
First overall and first in GT2. arakis, I think you must hide yourself in your secret den. I've waited for the race, and that's the results. First in the race, first in the standing. Oh, I'm curious to hear your whine. |

So Brabham confirms he had the puncture before the incident with Graf.

Brabham very sporting in defeat. What a man! I'm very proud of him, saved face for PHR in a way.
Very proud of Graf for winning that race, absolutely brilliant. GT! What else to say? Chris |

If there's video streaming, I will watch online like last time. I was just assuming they would have just RLM and T&S.
Penske would have stayed witness by his entry of the entire team to Grand Am because he wants to win overall, not class win. Acura already committed to LMP1. If Porsche wanted to continue with LMP2 I don't think they would have complained as much as Audi did and maybe allowed Fernandez to increase their restrictor for 2009 season. So 2009 would have been (2) Acura LMP1's, (2) Penske Porsches and the Fernandez LMP2 Acura. 4 professional teams at the front, without the reliability problems of the series lesser teams. Overall great race, looks like Brabs picked up a slow puncture the lap before the incident. Greg is going to wear-out Klaus if this keeps up. GT2 was strange, Long was flustered by the BMW's like Audi a few years ago, don't fight yourselves go after the victory with the strongest car. LMPC, funny finish. PR-1 complained about Graf bumping them, lost 5 seconds. If they could have come around, won? In any event congrats to Gunnar and Julian. Black Swan I believe unless they have some serious bad luck and with the Mission boys out of the series, looks like they'll be the team to beat and just to show you how important this is world-wide, Bleekie will not focus on defending his Super Cup title. Overall I would rate the race a 8, #62 was out early, both Corvettes were out of it early and the #61 was caught out on pit strategy. |
