Antrodemus should be qualifying in the top 10 on the grid
You know, it takes quite a bit of effort to make WOOFVESCO seem as incompetent as their real life counterparts

Change noted Fish.
Anyone else prepared to roll the dice?

For immediate release:
GTRMagic Racing Emporium Driver Change

Nearing the end of the season, I thought it may be time to reflect on the highs and lows of our racing operation this season.

I take full responsibility for the dreadful performances GTRMagic Racing Emporium has put together this season. It is my fault. There. I said it.

The crew has worked incredibly hard, fixed various lumps of crashed up junk into workable racecars in the blink of an eye... in places less than convenient. I dips me lid to the team in that regard.

But these bloody drivers, all they do is whinge, shout, grumble and groan, and when we ignore them completely when asking for setup input, wonder how the cars can get progressively slower in each session when we dont touch anything!

I know how to set up cars, I tell the crew what damper settings to put in, I determine spring rates not from looking at the MoTeC telemetry or data analysis but good old gut feel. I prepare the cars, the drivers have to drive the cars the way I set them up.

And if a driver flatspots a tyre, he should expect a !@#$%^& *******ing from me for having done so, and as punishment, will start a race with that stuffed tyre on the most worked corner of the car.

Bloody drivers!

And if they buzz an engine in practice, we will not change it. If it is slow in a straight line, we will not change it. There is nothing wrong with the engines, I know because I built them from a whole load of gohard parts from a NASCAR buddy in the USA. Just because the MoTeC says the engines are 40km/h an hour slower on terminal speed means jack &*(^ to me... because I know cars, and there's nothing wrong with them.

These drivers dont know what a good car they have underneath their oversized backsides.

I think I should just buy a couple more Level 1 franchises and take over the TEGA board.

Then I can join in with my old mate Kelvinator, and tell the world of Supercar how bloody amazing I am, and how fantastically magical my insights are, and how brilliantly I can set a car up.

I subscribe to the theory if you cant spend your time between race weekends just washing your cars, and playing silly buggggas with the stickers on it, then I wonder why have a workshop anyway. I mean, I think we should just park the truck outside a racetrack, with the cars in them, and just mosey along to the next meeting without the cars having left the trailer.

There's a clever idea. Lets do that. Then I can sack the crew again. Waste of money the lot of them, since I am making the changes myself in accordance with the phases of the moon.

The 2 current team drivers will stay in place for this round. We have 4638254 other drivers signed to our floperation in 2005, each with an option the team may or may not pick up.

I was thinking of getting Fred the truck driver to be the new lead runner next year. He has the skills we need. Doesnt whinge or complain, driving his old Albion prime mover around the place.

Ah bugggga it. I will have to have a drive.

Till next time, see ya in the funny papers

Level One GTRMagic

Eastern Creek Results and Final Standings

V8 SUPERCAR FANTASY CHAMPIONSHIP
Round 13: Eastern Creek Part II

Before we launch into the final round, congrats to West Surrey Racing, Team Target, Team Bahodie, and R&R Racing for taking out the Symmons Plains round after the lapscoring debacle.

Top Ten at the Creek
Dingo Motorsport (Dingo) 376
2= Peregrine Motorsport (Peregrine) 334
2= Jet Pilot Race Men (Docker) 334
4 Harvey Motorsport Design (Harves) 328
5 Woodbine Racing (woodbine) 310
6 XXXX Team Queensland Racing (Mick05) 308
7= Quirky Motorsport (Dirk) 300
7= Henry's Heroes (henry) 300
9= Team Dark Horse (FalconEL) 294
9= Archer Racing (Archer) 294

Dingo Motorsport sounded out a clear warning for next year by comfortably taking out the final round of the year. The race was also notable for the lack of championship contenders at this end of the field..

Hard Charger Award
Late charges came from Dingo Motorsport (up 7), Woodbine Racing, Henry's Heroes, Rocket Racing, and Harvey Motorsport Design (all up 5). The closeness of the competition certainly lead to more movement than I was expecting!

Biggest Loser Award
Crashing in an inglorious heap at the Creek were Silver Bullet Racing (down 10), Team Kcorb (down 8), Advantage Racing, and Team Greencardy (both down 6). A bit of work ahead of you before next season, I think.

62 (61) Fanatic Enterprises (Seton Fanatic) 1736 (-2211)

What a finish!
Six points was all that stopped R&R Racing from toppling defending (and now two-time) champions Team Ferox Racing after a classic ding-dong battle over the last 4 rounds. Team Target sealed up the final podium spot, while Oakley Team MVMotorsport only just held off Archer Racing for 4th. Rounding out the top ten were Elbows Out Racing, Woodbine Racing, West Surrey Racing, Team Bahodie, and Virgin Racing Team.
Well done to the respective Team Owners, and thanks to all involved for a great season!

Now, if you've had any gripes with the rules (notably enduro drivers) or any ideas on how to improve the championship - now is the time to debate them. Then I'll see what can be done in terms of making the rules easier to use and apply for next year.

So thats it for '04. I'm off to get a suntan, but I'm sure I'll catch all you guys and gals back here again in time for Adelaide!

Chairman, WOOFVESCO

Team Bestfit Autosport celebrates a successful debut season.

TBA would like to congratulate all involved with the team during 2004 for an outstanding 21st place finish. In what was always intended as a learning year, the team managed 3 top 10 finishes (Pukekohe, Oran Park and Bathurst) and although languishing in 39th position by round 7, came home with a rush in the last 6 rounds to make up 18 places!!

Our thanks to Marcos, Simon and Brad for their skill, dedication and committment throughout the season.

Our aim now is to build on what we have learnt this season and shoot for a top 10 finish in 2005!

Overall
31 (38) Dingo Motorsport (Dingo) 3162 (-785)
Brilliant performances by Messrs Radisich (2nd) and J Richards (8th) allowed Dingo Motorsport to finish the season on the top step of the podium. It was just a shame that neither driver could manage this level of performance during the first 12 rounds of the season. Craig Baird did his bit to push us over the other teams, his haul of 66 points lifting us from equal fifth for the round.

In conclusion, Dingo Motorsport has sounded no warning apart from issuing a statement saying that the official team sponsor is providing plenty of its product for free, and that all are welcome, and that there be no loud noises for a few days after the party ends...

See you in 2005!

After a late surge Woodbine Racing has managed its second consecutive top 10 finish in the Championship, following its fourth place last year.

Team Principal Woodbine was quoted as saying "You mean throwing the whole team out after Round 10 and starting again actually worked? Well B****r me!".

The team is now off to the sun for a well-earned rest before deciding on their selection policy for next year (Pulling the names out of a hat is favourite at the minute).

Finally, the team would like to congratulate WOOFVESCO on its operation of the championship this year.

Virgin Racing Team would like to thank it's drivers for doing a good job in the teams first year and achieving a Top 10 place in the championship.

We look forward to next years championship and will be aiming to finish a few spots higher.

Also a big thanks to Antrodemus for organising the championship for all of us this year. Your efforts are greatly appreciated.

FalconEL should be qualifying in the top 10 on the grid

10th in 2003, 11th in 2004 V8 Supercar Fantasy Championship

Celebrations all round as Team Dark Horse recovered brilliantly from a dismal 25th after Oran Park to finish a storming 11th in the Championship. This follows on from our awesome run in 2003 where we finished an outstanding 10th.

Our aim was to break the five-way Ambrose/Winterbottom deadlock between fellow Fantasy Championship contestants, and we did that well in the end.

Our final hire/fire pass allowed us to vault up the standings with Steven Johnson, Jason Bargwanna and Dale Brede scoring well in the post Bathurst events.

Thanks must go to Antrodemus for his fine effort in maintaining the pointscores.

Bring on 2005!!!
