Beretta managed to get some advertising billboard stuck to the front of the car, which I think sort of slowed him down. Hand passed him on the last corner!!!

Apparently that was not Beretta! Its was the 51??

The 51 was racing the BMW not Beretta??

I don't think Beretta ever passed the BMW, the one that got into the 56 on the last lap (and passed 1/2 lap earlier) was the 51, not 71. Something must have happened to 71 on the last lap (out of fuel?).
