No more team netherlands...

http://www.troostwijkauctions.com/nl...land/01-12563/

The inventory is up for auction because the team has a tax debt.

so if A1 survives, Team Netherlands won't be there.

No, that is just equipment from Racing for Holland, Jan Lammers' race team that runs the Dutch team. No A1GP equipment is seemingly up for sale, just looks like things owned by RFH. So A1 Team NED will presumably be run by a new race team this season.

I hope this doesn't affect A1 team NED and the Dutch A1gp round at Assen.

It does, even though the car is owned by the A1 organisation A1 team netherlands are broke and Jan Lammers now has no more team to run.

So if A1 team Netherlands is going to start the new season they will have to find a new team to run it. If you look at the photo's of the intems to be auctioned you also see the A1 race overalls and other clothing:

Well Status Grand Prix helped out with the running of the team last year, so maybe they will just take over the entire running of the team now. When they ran Canada in 2007/08 it was fruitful for sure.

The team will be there, and it's not bankrupt.. no they do not have the cash to pay dutch taxes immediately, but they are working things out.

In fact, team Ned made a profit the last 2 years, but that money has been used to do other things and/ or plug some holes.

That's what Jan Lammers says, but still everything is up for auction, and if they made a profit: why haven't they payed yet??

Because some other bills had to be paid aswell. Remember their Le-Mans adventure?

Just because you make a profit doesn't mean you will constantly have a large amount of cash ready at your disposal. In this case it's just bad timing. And if you follow some of the racing going on in the Netherlands you also know that the team is racing in the Dutch GT4 as Racing Team Holland with 2 cars, one of which is now seriously damaged by a flip during the races. Those things cost money too.

All I know is that this is'nt the first time Jan has money problems, and I also know you have to pay your taxes.

Lammers managed to save Racing for Holland but not the A1 team:

But the survival of the team no longer depends on Jan Lammers, but rather on A1GP, so... topic can be locked a.f.a.i.c.

The A1 part of the auction is still running, even though Jan has saved his other race team. but that's a different company.

But he still has time to save the A1GP team, there's over a month until the season begins.

I knew good news wouldn't last long, if it's A1GP. Isn't it ironic that F1 seems to try to self destruct and kill itself yet survives and here, A1GP is struggling to survive with the constant badgering of money issues. I hope A1 survives because I'm looking forward to Season 5. If Team NED gets vapourized, I think that's going to be the start of A1's demise. Oh wait, yet another negative statement about A1! lol.
