DucatiThrust should be qualifying in the top 10 on the grid
General questions about karting

I'd like to know more about karting in countries like the United Kingdom and France where motor sport is on an advanced stage. I'd like to know more about the most popular classes, kart chassis, engines and anything related to the championships. Any websites which can help?

The reason why I am asking this question is that you know countries like Kuwait where there are no kart championships and no motor sport activity except for rally so sharing some of your experience may be very helpful
Thank you in advance.

#15 tkm 4/ should be qualifying in the top 10 on the grid
hi, welcome to the great world of karting!

here is a forums which has basically everything you will every want/need to know abiout karting www.karting.co.uk basically the popular classes over here are the Tkm's and the Rotaxs. Both are in the 2 stroke catergoires, but there are a few 4 strokes which are starting to get big. In england most of our tracks are between 800-15000metres long which is good for a race. Anything else you wish to know, ask on here or on that forum above!

Sam

Welsh Karter should be qualifying in the top 10 on the grid
For simplicity and cost, prokarts may be something you want to look in to. They are not held in as high regard as TKM or Rotax due to their relative lack of performance but they run forever and are simple to maintain. In GB during the early 1990's when karting shot up in popularity, corporate prokarting introduced many, many people into the sport.

Good luck
