I Hate It (A1GP)
Great, a racing series with all the same cars and more overtaking as a result Yes! But, oh dear, no overtaking, no major involvement. it's like watching a low budget GP2 race. it's a joke.

Don't watch it then, that's the simple solution.

Whilst I agree that the series is not as good as GP2 the series is IMO a very worthy series and there has been lots of overtaking and close racing to be seen at every round thus far in 2005. Give A1 GP a couple of years and things will be better still, perhaps even better than GP2 in terms of driver talent and closeness of racing. At the moment it isnt quite there though but all the same the series is IMO a good series and a welcome addition to the motorsport calender. Gives us all some good close racing to watch during the winter months if nothing else.

Indeed.
And people who criticise the drivers at the back of the grid are missing the point - the series is there to help countries with no motorsport history get involved - its inevitable their drivers will be slower at this stage |

The series does need to iron out some issues, but I love watching it and enjoy the Aussie vs. NZ vs. GB rivalry.

A1GP IS A SUPER SERISE , IT IS GETTING FAME, I THINK IT IS BETTER THAN YOUR OLD F1 WHERE ONLY THE RICH WINS
FOR YEARS WE HEARD THAT MICHEL SHW....., IS THE LORD OF DRIVING , WHERE THE LORD WAS IN THE LAST SEASON. A1 IS BETTER,IT DEPENDS UPON THE SKILLS OF DRIVERS. THAT IS BETTER ON THE OTHER HAND IN F1 IT ALL DEPENDS UPON THE CAR . GIVE A JORDAN TO KIMI RICKO..., THAN SEE THE RESULTS THERES MORE OVERTAKING IN A1 THAN F1 , TELL ME WHO OVERTOOK KIMI.AS FAR AS A LOW COST SERISE IS CONCERNED , BOY TELL U A THING IT HAS THE GREATEST MONEY TAG INTHE BUSINESS |

Back on topic, I am not a huge fan of the series, they asked for Bernie's help and advice he gave it not knowing they would try and rival and clash with F1 and it's areas.
I know it's not directly aimed at F1 but it's aimed at F1's fan base. However it's great for countries not rich in motor racing heritage to host races and cheer on their drivers in a well known series as countries getting a motorsport event they deserve. |

It's aimed at motosport fans, yes, but it has deliberately set out to compliment F1, not compete with it.
Racing through the winter. I love it. |

Starting in late Summer and ending in Spring. Anyway I know a lot of people who know about this series, infact everyone I know, probably because they read the news papers, the series have certainly done well promoting it.

Well that's a good thing, surely.
If people like it, watch it. If they don't like it, don't watch it. I don't understand people who watch A1GP intently just so they can tell us how much they hate it. |
