A big pat on the back to Foxtel for approaching NASCAR about this rather than just fobbing you off, hopefully we'll see the Trucks in some form on Foxsports in '06

Great to see that there has been responses from the individual emails that have been sent to Fox & ESPN - thought it would work better than one email with many signatures!!

It is interesting to note an article in this weeks Motorsport News (page 20) about ESPN bidding for part rights to the Nextel Cup in 2007. The article is also quoted as saying that the TV rights will be about $US4.4 billion for 8 years. If you get a chance read the article, makes interesting reading especially with what we have been talking about in this thread.

Keep up the great work and keep sending those emails to Foxsports etc, you never know, we may get the chance to see MA racing the trucks live?? and not some 90 second grab on RPM or if he crashes, a 10 sec grab on the nightly news.

Certainly is, but since they bought it (2001 or 2002), Speed has become about three quarters NASCAR content, with the rest fitted in somewhere....

As far as i know the only Speed stuff shown on ESPN International this year has been some rather chopped versions of the Rolex Grand-Am Sportscar Series. There is plenty of Speed stuff on Fox Sports though, AMA Superbikes, Speed GT World Challenge etc etc... However with ABC/ESPN part of the new NASCAR TV deal with Fox (and TNT), this may allow some more cross programming.

Doesn't help us with regards to watching Ambrose in the trucks, but i'd love to get MotorsTV, among other things we'd have seen the GP Masters race the other week, still waiting for Foxtel to schedule that......(i'm hoping they show the 'old school' BBC version of the race)

With Fox Sport's commitment to other forms motorsports such as A1 and Moto GP, there is no intention to add the Craftsman Truck series to the schedule at this time.
