ETCC Cars Return to Bolgna Motor Show
For the 2nd Conesecutive year the FIA ETCC stage of the Bolgna motor show. 6 Cars representing for Manufacturers will take part in a pursuit race. Ive just read at www.eurostc.com I coudnt really make too much sense of it though, does anyone know anyhing about this race? If so could u explain a bit more about it?

I'm sure it's been running for more than 2 years. The course is laid out in the car park with lots of cones. 2 cars start from opposite ends of the track at equal distance apart and race for a short number of laps. The winner is the car that completes those laps in the shortest time, or the one who catches up with his opponent.
As I recall they also have classes for other types of cars. |

Motorshow has got many type of race:
Rally (WRC, GR.N, Super 1600, Onemake Trophy like Subaru, MG, Fiat, Peugeot and Opel) Touring Cars ( Super 2000, Superproduction and for the first time V8 Star and even one make Trophy like Alfa 147, Funcup, and Peugeot) There are also F3000 races, Bikes, car tests and simulation of F1's pit stop. In 2000 and 2001 won Colciago with the Audi A4, but I can't remember what happened the years before. I only remember that one time there was even Aiello in the 406, but, if I'm not in wrong, he didn't win. In my opinion the races aren't exciting. In 1996 I saw a Rallycars event, but it was very boring... |

the 2nd year bit probably means it's the 2nd year the ETC will be part of it.
