TuteZaek should be qualifying in the top 10 on the grid
Werner wins in Toay (La Pampa) and gives the Mustang (as a nameplate) its second win in the TC, after Cabalen win 57 years ago, that also happened at La Pampa

"The old"

"The New"

In a bit of a surprising news... the both the JP Carrera team and Las Toscas racing will cease to exist following a complete fusion (as of this year they were working together on a technical side) starting from the next race at Termas de Rio Hondo.
The resulting team will be called Canning Motorsport (the name comes from the place Las Toscas shop is) and its team "aesthetics" will be formally presented in the following months to allow time to all the things (from clothing to pit dressing) to be made.

The JP Carrera is one of the most succesful teams in the series, and was a dominant force in the era of the "Super Teams" together with the HAZ team.
They got 4 TC titles, 2 with Ortelli (Chevrolet), 1 with Silva (Ford) and 1 with Fontana (Dodge, last of the brand)

Las Toscas started as a JP "Subsidiary" being "JP Las Toscas" then they went alone as Las Toscas when the JP left the series for a year, managing to get some wins thru the years. with Ledesma and Pernia, and the dominant TC Pista championship with Tobias Martinez

Nothing new, there are some teams already working on theirs (or having the shells at least), but there isn't any info other than that they're delaying the presentation, mainly because other things that the series need to resolve first with the teams.

And about that thing that needs to be resolved: the teams and the series management/owners (aka Tango Agencia and the Levy brothers) seems to have differing ideas about what needs to be done to solve the series woes.
On that end, the team owners formed, (they anounced it during the last race) a team asociation to, according to rumors, put presure to the Levys and get the things done the way the teams want them.

Not only that, but Roberto Valle (From the RV Team, Honda's work team)* and Alejandro Reggi (From ACRA, the Renault Dealership Asociation, that backs the Ambrogio team)* had a meeting with the ACTC people, and not just people, but Mazzacane himself (Current ACTC President) to talk about, allegedly, going with the ACTC CAF fiscalization instead of the CDA, and the ACTC, also allegedly, registered the "Turismo Carretera 2000" name, just in case.

So tl;dr: While the work is underway, they will be delayed, and there is a lot of drama (again) in the series.
Also the CDA/ACTC conflict has reached the series and now its added to the already murky soup.

*Both teams have ties already with the ACTC, with the RV Racing building a Chevy for a coming debut, and ACRA
being the main backer of the Trotta/Torino team

uesugi kenshin should be qualifying in the top 10 on the grid
So the teams in TC2000 are considering doing what the teams in Formula Nacional did and all leave and go to the ACTC?
