Competition Car Insurance will perhaps not be the absolute cheapest, but will know what you're talking about, and provide you with good cover for reasonable money.

Morris and David Auden both do the same.

Woody AHS I think would be insured so your car would be covered - same for the truck I think.

I insure through NFU Mutual, and they quoted me based on something like £30 per £1000 to insure (fire & theft), though that was a few years back.

That covered it while it was parked up, or on the trailer, or wherever.

My car and van insurances also have trailer cover. It didn't cost much on top of the normal policy, and with my van, as it's commercial, covers something like £30000 plus the value of the trailer, and it's not limited to any particular trailer, which some insurers don't do (they tie you to one trailer).

Rob.

I would recommend Competition Car Insurance. I have used them in the past and they know what they, and you, are talking about when it comes to insuring your competition car.

I have used David Auden for years, just renewed at £75 for a £5000 FF car. Let me know if you need contact details.

Make sure you insure it agreed value...

It cost me only a few pounds extra to make it agreed REBUILD value.
(I set mine at £7500)

They will do it, but you have to be a little insistent that you want it.
