Easy to find and has pretty colors.

Could someone explain how the heats are scored? Is is just essentially time trials? Or is it a points system?

That was the 2013 ERX format.
Under link to FIA one can find the 2014 WRX rules.

For a championship at this level, the officia website should be up to date!

So only real changes are the points going from 50-45-42-40-39-38 etc in the heats, thus penalising DNF/DNS/DSQs more. And also the points in the final meaning winning is a bit bigger.

Rumours on Facebook, though nothing confirmed that Villeneuve has signed to do the Indy 500, so if that's true, it clashes with Lydden.

Very strange article. Guess/hope it is just a rumour and Villeneuve goes for full WRX

Hope it's not true.
My favourite thing about the article was the comment that said that Jacques came back from 2 laps down to win and therefore did 505 miles (not the usual 500). Surely that's rubbish. He was two laps down, he made the time up. So just did 500... Unless am missing some odd US Indy nuance

I think it was a 2 lap penalty for overtaking under yellows.

Not had a chance to get a copy of Autosport yet, but been told the piece on Villeneuve and Rallycross, mentions he isn't doing a full season of WRX, because of his F1 duties for Canadian TV.

Yeh I read somewhere too he'll miss about 3/4 rounds due to other commitments. Certainly not a full season. Strange to test at Lydden then not compete though!

Pity that Foust won't be in France, but great to read he'll be at Lydden.

Timur Timerzyanov - will he defend his title?
Davy Jeanney - C4 has been sold
Mats Öhman
Morten Bermingrud
Jos Jansen - full WRX?
Knut Ove Børseth
Henning Solberg - would prefer to go rallying
Daniel Holten
Jussi-Petteri Leppihalme
Tord Linnerud
Ronny Scheveneels
Kevin Procter - hope to see more of Kevin in WRX this year

Not that much "all-secret"...
However, Morgan send an overworked and little shorter press release just a bit later.

Okay, saw a short release of it in Värmlands Folkblad. Though, I have heard about this before and that Timerzyanov is in the project as well, making it a two car team

The World Rallycross championship gets a big piece in the latest MSA magazine - nothing new in terms of news in the article but shows that the shiny new world of IMG rallycross is getting attention.

I'm only going on the Sunday. Spending the Sat in Canterbury. It's a 300ish mile trip for me so I'm trying to make a bit of a holiday out of it. I'm so excited though.
