Speed at Eau Rouge

Was this year realised speed trap at the exit of Eau Rouge for 1000km
Spa race like it was for F1 ? If anybody does know how fast LMP cars
did at Eau Rouge please let me know.

Our LMP2 was doing about 140mph at the crest I think from memory... (although that seems a bit quick given we were only doing 160 at the end of the straight...)

I saw quite a few cars using their breaks, then again the weather wasn't ideal.

Did you find that the approach to Blanchimont was a lot quicker than the top of the hill into Les Combes then?

that were the figures you showed me Rick your data showed 137 mph at Eau rouge and 157 at the braking point at les Combes.
I do not really remember the creation speeds but it was
awfully more than that....will try to resource the figures.

That sounds right Marcushm I got a bit quicker after that as I got braver! I was apexing Blanchimont at 144mph Adam and that was without a brake so I imagine allowing for a bit of a lift and some tyre scrub we were turning in at around 150ish. We were hitting 155 before the Bus Stop.
Cheers

and you didnot drop the ball...so it was not bravery but gaining confidence.
You looked in control throughout...and there was visibly more time to find still....looking forward to next year!!!
