Well done 'Speed' for bringing this petition to our notice...I have just added my name to the petition to hopefully help save the Autodrome.
I have visited the race or testing there for the past 3 years, taking a differant friend each time. It's a great track to visit and I recommend it to any F1 fan who hasn't been there yet. It's easy and cheap to get to via Ryanair to Bergamo where there are good fair priced hotels and a train station. The transfer bus to the circuit is free, and the circuit is a delight, situated in parkland the sound of the cars amongst the trees creates an atmosphere like no other! You can buy tickets online eg. www.GPticketshop.com and have a virtual spectators view from differant stands before you buy. |

To quote Joe Pesci from 'Casino'
we should settle this 'out of court' (brandishes gun) |

Signed also, I am going this year to the Italian GP. Would be a shame if they close the track.

These idiots are everywhere in the world now. They buy these properties in the full knowledge that the racing circuit is there and use all this dubious modern legislation to try to restrict the racing or close the circuit. I think it would be great if we could go back to the common sense approach. If you didn't like it you should not have bought it, now lump it.

Exactly.
Like we live under a flight path. The house was purchased in full knowledge of this, therefore we do not have a problem with planes flying over the house. |

Especially when it comes to a couple of years down the track and usage increases. |

These people are unbelievable, aren't they! They knowingly buy houses near a race track and then complain about the noise. Were they too stupid to realize that race tracks can get rather noisy? Or are they just looking to score some cash? Considering the complete lack of interest that Italians show in motorsports - NOT! - I bet these people aren't too popular.

I hope that they genuinely believe they have a just cause.
I find that a lot more acceptable than money-grabbing. |

I can't believe that Monza should be under fire from, what, two residents who happen to have no brain. I mean, you choose to live somewhere based on not just the house, but the surroundings.
To complain about it is just outrageous......if Monza ends up dead thanks to these people I will pay them a personal visit....and I'm taking my ice-pick with me. Seriously, if we have a bunch of cars that sound like Audi R10's we will be bored to tears. Sound is a major part of motorsport........watch an F1 race with the sound down to see what I mean! |

Hopefully any enraged residents nearby will start driving passed their house, in droves, at 30mph/50kph-40mph/65kph in first gear.

It's all about their human rights you see. . Funny how everybody except normal people get all the human rights.

It is also rather worrying that part of the proposal for the development at Silverstone is....: Residential Housing...!

It's OK, British people can live with noise because they are tough.

Human Rights are the sole property of the minority.
Please remember that when considering that motorsport users of a facility such as Monza are the majority, therefore wrong. Rob. |

What we'll get are people moving into these houses, fully aware that there is an international racing circuit behind their back garden and still moan about noise pollution |
