AR-CoolC should be qualifying in the top 10 on the grid
Hillclimb in Lincolnshire??

I know Lincolnshire is very flat (apart from Cadwell Park ), but are there any hillclimb venues here?

I think they did have a hill climb at Cadwell Park many years ago. Can't think of any others. The Wolds are certainly not flat! Must be an idea for someone to look into?

There was certainly a 'hillclimb' at Cadwell Park, however it is now considered a Sprint course.

Hillclimbs have been run at the following locations in Lincolnshire:

Bully Hill - Market Raisen to Grimsby (public road)
Grimsthorpe Castle - Lincolnshire
Nettleton - Lincolnshire
Syston Park - Lincolnshire

According to the fantastic Uphill Racers written by Chris Mason it was first used in 1904.

I think someone should run an event in Lincoln itself as it has one of the steepest City Centre streets in Britain

In deepest darkest very flat Suffolk in a town called Beccles there exists an organisation called 'The Beccles Mountain Rescue Team' who meet every Friday in their local pub to discuss recent 'Shouts'. They have been formed for some twenty odd years now and have yet to have a call out, perhaps if a suitable location for a hillclimb can be found in Lincolnshire then maybe you could make use of their services, just a thought!
