Edmonton should be qualifying in the top 10 on the grid
Daytona Continental

How about bringing back this name for a 24hour Aco/FIA rules sportscar race that could be held later in the year(While the rolex24 is early in the year)?

It would be a great way to close out the season.

ha great idea but it will never happen unfortunately. Daytona Speedway is ISC owned (Nascar). There won't be a real sportscar running at the track for a looonng time.

Plus there is already the Paul Revere 250 (or whatever) that is held later in the year, still for Grand Am though.

pederb has a lot of promise if they can keep it on the circuit!
True, you have to remember that NASCAR owns Grand Am and do not want any competition. That's one of the reason why ALMS never races on a super speedway.

plus isn't a season-closer of such length going to be a bit tight considering the late season Petit Le Mans along with the later LMES rounds? doesn't leave much closed-season time before the likes of the Sebring testing we've seen over the past couple of weeks... would be fantastic but I reckon it may be a little too tight considering teams' schedules and budgets
