Smellybeard should be qualifying in the top 10 on the grid
My mistake - B42-78-2 is correct.

Here it is...

Dave, from past observations we think this is the ex-Daly car that John Stokes used occasionally in UK Atlantic in 79. I guess it went to Patsy after, making 2 ex-DD B42s in Ireland, -08, the Gibson car, being the other one.

Hi Richard

Did you ask John about this Brabham? I've found a reference (Autosport 5 Apr 1968 p25) confirming that he bought the Malcolm Templeton BT14 which Ted informs me was FL-5-65. However, in 1969 he was said to have a BT16 and I'm wondering if this was in fact the same old BT14 again. I'm particularly curious because he raced this "BT16" in the F5000 race at Mondello in July 1969 and I'd like to be able to pin down its identity.

David McKinney has a note that the BT14 was later with Edmund Irvine in 1970 for Formula Ford.

Thanks

Allen

That's Edmund Irvine Sr, of course
