like what I say twice in previous posts. GTA and local promoter properly still finding a new date which is not going to affected by Ramandan in next couple of years (it crossing though mid-end June from 2015 beyond and last for several years) .Actually FB page for SGT Malaysian Event maintained by local promoter keeps posting shows their intention ,relation with GTA remains unchanged. Hope they can find solution before 2015 calender annoucement

Team Bandoh (#19) does not confirm GT500 participation yet at present.
The team needs more sponsors.

Big news.
Team GSR & Studie (#4) was divided into two independent teams.
(Team Good Smile Racing/Team Studie)
They each participate in GT300 class.

There have been rumours that a German manufacturer wants to enter DTM in the "near future". (Source: http://www.motorsport-total.com/dtm/...-13122301.html) BMW has expressed interest in SuperGT for years and they seem to have some capabilities left. Maybe this team hasn't confirmed GT500 participation yet, because they're waiting for their manufacturer?

Does anyone with more insight have more informations about that?

Surely Japanese Samurai can explain better than me, but DTM german manufacturers have to wait the introduction of the 2.0 L4 engine formula also in the german series before to think about super GT.

Any reasons between the split?

Looks like GSR held onto the majority of the team (thankfully they still have Taniguichi in all his awesomeness) and Studie have left to start their own thing.

There is a rumor that joint participation was refused from team Studie.
Team Studie is BMW tuner in Japan.
Therefore, it may be related to future GT500 participation of BMW.
