Alex K has a lot of promise if they can keep it on the circuit!
Club racing, FFord, BARC, Intersteps, National Class, Ginetta. so on...

Its about time the big series went to Anglesey, too. One of the best circuits in the country and it definately has the best back drop. And finally, they should include an Oval on the calendar, too. After all a fair few drivers end up in CART/ Indy now.
Well the new pit garages will help with that... Not sure the rest of the facilities could manage with a big meeting, but they're getting there.

But an F3 meeting these days is not a 'big' meeting Andrew. It is supposed to be yes, but years of processional racing has kept the crowds away from watching the Formula. I think those that do turn up are more interested in the GT supercars...nothing like BTCC crowd figures yet F3 'should' be our premier series. Just look at the empty stands at Silverstone. Funny how it always looks exciting on TV at crack-o-sparrows in the depths of channel 4, but 'live' it is seldom anything but..just follow the leader stuff. Oh for 1-litre 'screamer' slipstreamers! But as some down the pit lane have said in the press before...F3 is first and foremost an industry formula..training drivers and engineers for F1..not an entertainment.

Yes, Anglesey couldn't host BTCC for example, but could host F3/GT as the spectator levels are significantly lower.

They hosted Modified Live last year which draws a big crowd and the same meeting is a double header this year.

Modified Live is a 2-dayer at Snett too...also known as the 'Chav Fest'

but undeniably popular amongst the target demographic. I bet Modified Live is either 3rd or 4th in the table of most popular events after BTCC and Superbikes. That or the Lotus Festival must be 3rd or 4th.

Can't argue with that, at Snetterton.
