Doesn't look like many of the teams are giving it their all, either.

Manthey are only supporting privateer cars in this year's 24h-race, no official works project, so it's up to the pay-drivers if they want to do this race or not.
If the commentary and images are limited, why geoblock? Is that acceptable for Germany and not for the rest of the world?

Thanks for Manthey info.

And if I read an article right, that is because they are running the Works WEC Porsches from their Meuspath workshop this year.

IIRC there are some legal limitations on what TV-stations can make available on the net to viewers outside their home country. So these limitations might apply to Sport1's content and since the stream on the 24h-website is only an embedded version of the Sport1 stream the same goes for that one.

And again, you are not missing out on much. No commentary at all right now, just pictures and terrible pop music ("it's hard out here for a b*tch"... seriously?!)

Sport1 geoblocks basicly all motorsport according to the check available on the website
Sounds like the system they have does differentiate between F1 and others

Phoenix Racing with Fässler/Winkelhock & Mamerow/Rast for next race: Strong line-up... and they race with the basic BSS livery on at least one of the cars...

Entry list for this weekend's second round of VLN

Pretty good, though Black Falcon and WRT will be busy in Monza this weekend, so the Mercedes and Audi squads are a bit thin.

fine, so which teams will race the 24h in june?

probably in GT3:

8 x Audi R8: 2x Abt (Hankook), 2x Phoenix, 2x race-experience, G-Drive/WRT, Busch
8x Mercedes SLS: 2x Black-Falcon 2x HTP, 2x Rowe, Weiland, Car-Collection
6x BMW Z4: 2x MarcVDS, 2x Schubert, 2x Walkenhorst
5x Porsche: Falken, Frikadelli, Haribo, Manthey (Gentleman driven), Wochenspiegel
1x McLaren: Dörr
1x Nissan: Schulze/RJN
1x Aston-Martin: works

additional the new Lexus LFA-X, two Ferrari F458 (racing-one, GT-Corse) one or two private Corvette C06, a Hyundai Genesis Coupe and many Vantage GT4, Cup-Porsche and about 120 other race-cars until a handful of Mini-Cooper.

That sucks. But also no Jürgen Alzen Z4 then?

Also, forget about the second Vantage, the current GT3 entered by the Testing Centre is indeed the one from AMR.

Race was started at noon, but stopped less than an hour in after a crash that required extensive armco repairs.

The Aston Martin vom Leonard Motorsport seems only to race the VLN-season. no word of the 24h-race, but it would be fine indeed.
http://leonardmotorsportamr.com/

But GT corse by rinaldi announce two GT3 F458 for the 24h. they got a fine start of the BES-season with their green Ferrari.
One car will race with Alexander Matschull and Pierre Ehret and the other with Andre Barlesi and Mike Jäger others t.b.a.

Is the 458 GT3 Nürburgring kit officially supported by Ferrari?

Does that mean the LFA will try to compete near the top this year, or no?

Also, any chance of a Gallardo or McLaren doing the 24H this year? or Ferrari 458? Bizarre you don't really see those cars doing the race; mainly Porsche, Audi, and Mercedes.
