RLM speculated Engine but Rebellion say Gearbox. Rebellion did have an impressive engine failure during the Bahrain race though.

Great job for pole Nakajima. He was on it! Closest qualifying weve had yet with the 4 lap average. Those Audi onboards are scary. You hardly hear a thing between braking and accelerating. The only way you can hear the car slow for me was their washing machine flywheel sound.

By far the most interesting qualy session for a WEC from what I've seen. Very impressed by Porsches pace from the off and the way all the P1s were monstering the track.

Hoping for a dry race tomorrow after seeing how close the top three are but that doesn't look too promising unfortunately. Can't complain though as it looks like we're in for the promising season we were all hoping for

I'm not sure whether such a close qualifying allows us to predict a close race for tomorrow or not. If Toyota is able to do more laps per stint, the race will be far apart from being close. Or am I wrong?
