Where do you think Plato will go now that Vauxhall have dropped him?
You decide |

I don't think *we* decide!
Anyhow, i think he'll end up at Proton-they certainly seem to have the money behind them. He might go to Honda, but I doubt MG somehow. I'd like him to return, because I don't think a series is the same if the champion doesn't return to defend the title the following year. |

your dam right, i hate seeing champions leave.but its good when they return few years later like tarquni, smokin jo,harvey, hoy and any1 i missed.maybe next year we might see a team tempt a champ back. someone like menu or rydell could do!i hate championships that never see anyone return

I think Proton will snap him up. Although some of his tactics this season have seemed slightly dubious, he is the champion and therefore the fastest or one of the fastest guys out there!

I'd like to see him at MG as we know that they have a competitive car and should give him a reasonable chance of retaining his title.

My advice to Plato is get out of the BTCC, its doomed to failure.
Get yourself a DTM seat. |

I agree with Hakkiman. The whole thing's gone belly up. They went totally down the wrong route allowing Coupes in (touring car or coupe car? hmmm what do manufacturers want to sell most of? the former i'd probably suggest) and then they allow rich little 17 year olds in who have to race in winter clubbie meetings to get their licence up to a BTCC grade (i'm sure Plato will really feel he's achieved something beating kiddies like him. Likewise the kiddie - nothing against him - will be like a lamb to the slaughter) and then they go and walk away from Grandstand which, let's face it, is hwat made the BTCC.
Plato should got DTM. He can drive FWD and RWD. And he's got the bravado and tactical know-how required to succeed in DTM. |
