Motor Sport back issues

In the absence of a Motor Sport index, could some kind soul tell me the major articles reports in a couple of 1970s Motor Sports, on behalf of a friend who may want to buy them?

The issues are February 1977, and June 1979

Thanks in advance

On the subject of Motor Sport, does anybody know when DSJ last wrote for them? He seemed to fade quietly away.

Umm he died a few years back - but I'm guessing you know that? Didnt he fall out with Motor Sport and transferred to Autosport who ran a few articles from him just prior to him passing on?

I don't know about falling out but he had a stroke about 18 months before he died and was in a nursing home. A few old articles were printed around that time.

The more I think about it the more I am certain he left Motor Sport and went tow rite for Autospurt, and I am sure it was that he wasnt happy with Motor Sport, maybe cos they had jazzed up the mag or something.

Jeremy is it your website that shows the photos of the Birmingham thundersports race? I stumbled across it today and found a picture of a good mate of mine who co drives my car in 2 driver races in his car which he shared with Martin Birrane, I presume its yours as it has your name by each photo
