Holden chairman Mike Devereux also refused to comment on the strengthening rumours in the US, which were triggered by the announcement. Not that it matters, but it is my understanding that this will be a civilian version of the PPV, which is a Caprice not a Commodore.

The current Impala is larger than a Commodore and roughly the same size as a Caprice. Both the Commodore and 'bu are mid-size cars.
