This is new and it is important for the series to get these things right at this stage. as we are introducing different motors than we had in the past. Otherwise any new manufacturer could just come in with a better motor and blow people away

Have had new models cars, changes in bodyshape, changes in engines in use, changes in suspension type, advantages & disadvantages of all these variations.
Dyno results for an engine do not tell you how it's really going to perform on a lap time basis - the only ways to make parity adjustments (IF needed) is based on race lap times or alternatively, controlled testing in fully supervised conditions (like the aero testing). Only way that could be done on the dyno is to run a selection of engines back to back in identical conditions, on an identical dyno and compare results closely. Then of course, do the same thing with any proposed changes made for parity.
Somehow, can't see it happening.
