Production Car Championship?

This does not seem to have been discussed here? Here in UK I first heard of it through TV coverage on Motors TV of round at Oran Park.I was very pleased to see that Leanne Ferrier, whom I thought had dissapeared got a win and a second.

I saw the races on Sunday and the format is very entertaining. The different classes are sent off in a handicap start, although the first race on Sunday was a bit comical when a class C car went off with the class D cars and then a class B car from the second row of the class B's started with the class C's until he realised the car he was just passing had not moved. He then proceded to grab reverse and back up a bit before his class was sent off - not the smartest thing I've seen on a racetrack.

The race format that Procar have come up with works. The idea was that it would create good racing with so many different cars, it was thought that by mid race or beyond the bigger cars like the commodores and falcons would catch up with the smaller cars like the corrola and the protons. Very exciting finishes

and the little guys get rewarded with TV exposure. Have to agree great format and the racing is fantastic jus need a few more different cars ...maybe in the 6cyl class.
Commodore S Camry Sportivo, Magna Sports, Hyundai Sonata and maybe even a Honda Accord Euro.

Yeah Rob its great to have Leanne back competitive and especially in factory Toyota. The championship is great with some unbeleivable racing. Its great to see its getting some international exposure
