chasing cars should be qualifying in the top 10 on the grid
Great weekend of rallycross and great weather and very well organized though more effort could have been made to keep the dust down for the finals I believe. Makes me even more mad about these proposals for change when things are so healthy.

It did seem that Set Promotions point of running i think it was 6 cars was to try and eliminate as much of the opposition as possible. Though Wilman got a good result he had at least 2 goes at taking Linnemann out in the second heats before finally succeeding and I dont think he got punished for it. What shagawotsit did to Godfrey after having already been black flagged should surely lead to a ban.

As for the JRX it seems to me they have rushed it, the cars are clearly not yet reliable and I cant see what the kids are going to learn from only doing a lap or 2 in most races apart from patience maybe!

The one thing I would say is that we only had about 4 more supercars than next years' proposed 16, but the rest of the categorirs were so strong (and the supernationals in support too) that it didnt matter at all. Plus the 20 supercars (barring Van Loon and the Hungarian focus) were all of excellent quality.

Glad the Gazebos were less than my last visit, but still one or two that maybe should have been asked to be removed to prevent an infux again.

And please can they put in some decent spectator banking.

Not sure if the dust problem was the loose or cars running off the road. But not good when you have to wait for the TV broadcast to find out what happened due to dust from the joker section.

They have a sprinkler system in place and it was used on saturday, but didnt notice it being used on sunday.

JRX, I think give it time. At least it was better than the introduction of Touring Cars with Sterkens running around on his own.

And some times you learn more from things going wrong than right.

Good to see the supernationals back in support, would be great if they could tempt the Scandinavian cars back.

Ok, but at least van Loon's Fiesta looked brand new... Couldn't say that off the Hungarian Focus! ;-)

I think there were also some Set Promotions build cars, that aren't owned by the team? And one of them seems to be Rusal Minnikhanov's Twingo, which is the 2nd Twingo? Isn't he the son of Rustam which drove the Hansen C4 earlier?
