Super Touring Pontiac Sunfire.

Hello all, I was perusing www.supertouringregister.com, and there is a car listed for the Laguna Seca rounds of the NATCC, a Pontiac Sunfire. I am trying to locate pictures and information about this vehicle, and any photos would be greatly appreciated. If it means anything to anyone, it was entered by Metalcraft, and driven by Dave Jolly, and Ron Emmick.

I believe it's the car listed on that page. It's described there as the prototype but I'm not aware of more than one car being built.

Craig, your rental car has way different taillights than the USA version did, crazy Canadians, lol. That ST Sunfire looks pretty good, would look even better with a real paint scheme, I would think incorporating red, white, and black. Any more photo's anyone can find would be great!

No Redshoes, there was actually 2 separate teams building a Sunfire based ST car. However, Manta Motorsports seemed to indicate they had the most factory support behind the scenes. But despite that, the car never raced.

Instead, the Metalcraft Racing Sunfire made it on the track a few times--though it was obviously underpowered against all the other teams racing genuine ST cars.
