Just saw the price for internet access in my hotel... Wouldn't do it for any other race.

Is the race start 2:30 GMT or CET?

Dumb question guys. Is the entrance to the nordschleife now in a different spot off the GP track? Is this the first year you can do a lap of the GP track and re-enter the pits without heading out for the full 24hr lap?
Thanks |

I think it's been the same ever since the GP track was built back in the 1980s. At least since I started watching the N24 a few years ago, it's always been the case that drivers were able to shortcut back into the pits at the end of the GP track.

Regular VLN rounds and the N24h use different configurations of the GP layout, but both have allowed returning to the pits after the GP section for a few years at least. Can't remember when it's not been this way.

McLaren drivers should watch out for 35kg of lead that may be dropped down on them from the skys by the BoP-gods...
For those fortunate enough to sit in a Porsche GT3-R today, should be light and breezy as they'll get to unload 20kgs of ballast. No idea what the actual weather forecast is. Not that it would be worth much in the Eifel. I'm kinda hoping for rain (and lots of it) to make me feel less miserable about not going... |

Going to try and watch a bit of this between work around the house and football (soccer for the rest of you 'mericans).
I am viewing the RLM stream right now, and the RLM crew has yet "arrive". The race goes off in less than 30, so I am assuming they are getting some last minute rest before the long stint. Should be a cracker! |

Nismo TV is supposed to have a 720p but in the end no difference with quality anyway:

What do we think of the BMW Art car?
I am not a fan of it's livery... Although I like this 2-Series racing car. |
