Dreadful news, all the best to Dean and his recovery.
Opens up a big seat though. |

Shocked to read that. I wish him all the best for his recovery, hopefully he will be back in a seat ASAP.

I can only echo all the other comments. If they've caught it early enough and it's only in one area he should be alright eventually, but still a big career setback just when things were looking good for him.

Shocking news about Stoneman. Best wishes to him; I hope he is able to recover his health first and foremost. Driving a racing car is important, but not as important as that!

First of all, I'd also like to echo all the previous comments in relation to Dean Stoneman. I hope he can recover soon and get back to racing ASAP.
P1 Motorsport have just announced their drivers for 2011, and they are.. Walter Grubmuller and Daniil Move Obviously no surprise about Grubmuller, but I am surprised about Move going back to one of his old teams - and the fact that 2011 will be his fifth year in the category. He could spring a surprise or two, but he'll do well to better his 10th place overall finish of 2009 IMO. |

Where does that leave Hartley now, guess he'll still be trying to get a GP2 drive as well?

I'm expecting Jan Charouz to move over to Gravity-Charouz, and as a possible team-mate, how about Marco Wittmann? He had a FR3.5 test with KMP at Motorland Aragon last October which seemed to go well, plus he is part of the Gravity Sports Management stable and a FR3.5 seat would seem a logical step-up from the F3 Euroseries. |

I'm expecting Dan mckenzie to be at fortec as it seems that he won't be in british f3 this season and hopefully sten pentus will partner him

Mckenzie seemed to struggle somewhat in the tests, but Fortec would be a natural step for him definitely. As for Hartley and Rossi, I think they must be both set for GP2 as the top seats have pretty much been filled now in 3.5.

Cesar Ramos hasn't signed yet and seemed set to make the step up.

Italiaracing.net are reporting that Nathanael Berthon will replace Dean Stoneman at ISR Racing. Should be a good test for Ricciardo as Berthon's certainly no slouch.

Very true. With two second-year drivers now confirmed and a solid first season behind them, I would definitely put ISR as one of the favourites for the Teams' title.
This is a nice little rumor that I hope becomes reality - Alexander Rossi to Fortec??? With all the major GP2 seats now filled, it might be his best option? |

What happened with Rossi and ISR though? I would have thought it would have been him rather than Berthon to replace Stoneman. Anyway, glad he got a seat.
