This was a no brainer. Monty was awesome today... I guess Jacque$ is on the poll as a joke?

Inigo, Jacques did not make any mistakes, did he?

But Montoya won.

Jordi, the mistake Jacque$ made, was, as you know, a few years back.

No, he made no mistake, but he certainly wasn't a protagonist of this race...

In JV's defense he was lapping within two tenths of a lap on RB, as soon as DaMattas traffic blocking stopped. The car failed JV today again. JV is doing much better that I would have thought at keeping his composure. I would have gotten out and kicked the outta that car. With a positive start I am sure he could have at least put some pressure on the leaders.
I voted JPM because he won. KR drove just a brilliantly IMO.

G'day Boots - hope that you're feeling well today

It was Montoya's race - I thought that he deserved that win!

Montoya - he drove well, he kept his head under pressure and he thoroughly deserved the win (I'd love to see a Montoya fan say that about Ralf sometime ).

TGF had a good race as well, considering that it's difficult to get a podium starting outside the top 4 when none of them retire, but that was more down to strategy than anything else. Could perhaps have got 2nd if he'd had the pace 40-odd laps in.

I vote Monty, but agree with neilap about the BAR-Honda.
What a ****ty weekend for them, the good practice times(by Button), followed by the accident, followed by the legal issues, followed by retirement from the race.

Put a fork in them - they're done.

Montoya was simply outstanding. So was Kimi. But since Montoya won the damn thing, its pretty fair to name him man of the race.

And what about rookie DaMatta? Quick, or was Panis seriously sloooowwww???

Eddie: Toyota have been saying there was a problem on Panis' car that they didn't get to the bottom of.

DaMatta did a great job with a **** car. Panis may have had his problems, but DaMatta did a seriously proffesional job at a difficult circuit for a rookie. Especially one with limited testing time.
Drive of the day is JPM all the way though. No question.

Definately Monotoya, although Kimi also deserves a lot of credit.

Every poll has one

I can't believe there are any other names on here. Michael, Kimi and Alonso are worthy of a mention, but this was JPM's race.

Great start, put some scorcher laps in when it counted, and drove a smart race. Brilliant!

No doubt about it, JPM

Excellent lap to get him in front & was cool at the end.

Is this the ten-tenths forum or have I stumbled into some parallel universe where people actually give credit where credit's due - Ralf fans saying JPM drove a great race, JPM fans saying Ralf did a great qualifying lap..... what's wrong with you people?

Umm yes, Montoya's day I think. Good result for Kimi too.

There's no other choice. JPM was fault-less all day, soaking up all the pressure from Kimi.

Really hard call. JPM, Kimi, Michael were all terrific today. Faultless driving and pushing all the way.In fact, all would have been worthy winners at Monaco yesterday, hence i'm not going to complain!

But outside the top contenders, i'd say JV did pretty well to be even sniffing behind a lacksture Rubens. A pity the Honda couldn't hold (can't believe i'm saying this!! )
